Meet Angela Tedesco, an experienced educator with an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut (2012). Bringing 11 years of expertise to tutoring, she specializes in English, Reading, Writing, SAT English, ACT English, and College Essays, with a focus on SAT English and College Essays. With eleven years of teaching social studies and language arts at the high school level, Angela has worked with students of all skill levels. Her teaching journey has been fueled by the joy of witnessing students experience success and gain the confidence they may have previously lacked. Holding an active secondary social study teaching certification in Connecticut, her master’s degree has equipped her to develop and teach various academic courses, including Advanced Placement, for secondary students. During tutoring sessions, she prioritizes students’ productivity, encouraging them to be active participants in their learning. Her kind, patient, and considerate approach to teaching and tutoring puts students at ease, creating an environment where they can build confidence, whether working in person or remotely.
